New compact HF linear amplifier for the 20 - 30 MHz frequency band. As final RF, it employs sixteen particularly robust and powerful RM3 MOSFETs. KL703 has an input attenuator, adjustable in three positions, to adapt the driving power and cancel the risks of overdrive. 6 output low-pass filters that can be inserted manually or are controlled by a microprocessor, with a cut-off frequency of 3 / 4.5 / 8 / 15 / 22 / 31 MHz, to drastically reduce harmonic emissions. The HLA 305 amplifier is the renewed and more technological version of the HLA 300 amplifier. The novelties of the new version are:
1.
A larger heatsink. A new matrix has been designed, wider with a 25% increased dissipation, thus allowing a more orderly arrangement of the internal circuits and a possible heavier duty for the amplifier even without the fans. Two wider and much quieter fans allow intensive use even in contest without disturbing the listening.
2.
A more linear input circuit. It allows a more correct detection of the power and frequency of the signal to be amplified.
3.
A more powerful microprocessor. Extends the security controls and allows you to more correctly manage all the functions of the amplifier. Compared to the HLA300 amplifier in the HLA305 a sampling of the analog values ​​was introduced to obtain real readings and comparisons, control over the absorbed current was added and the measurement of the standing wave level in the antenna is done with a "tandem match" circuit more linear and precise than that of the HLA300.
4.
A display. The introduction of a more powerful processor also allows the control of an alphanumeric display where the status of the amplifier and some operating parameters are displayed.

Improved filter group. The redesign of the six band filters (of the Cauer type) has considerably improved the cleaningness of the amplifier output, the use of larger and more performing toroids (AMIDON) has allowed the construction of a 5-pole filter assembly that does not present saturation problems and the use of high quality mica capacitors ensures operation even in stress conditions in the event of non-optimal adaptation of the antenna.

Different amplifier RF circuit. Compared to the HLA300V model the HLA305V amplifier uses the classic Motorola scheme, much more complex but such as to allow for greater linearity both as the frequency changes and the input power varies and therefore limit the signal distortion. The power supply to the RF devices was extracted from the coupling transformer, greatly limiting the possibility of saturating it.

Bias Circuit. The Bias circuit has been renewed, it is stabilized in voltage and thermoregulated to compensate for the drift due to the temperature.

RX / TX switching. The RX / TX switching speed has been increased allowing, after the detection of the transmission band, a very fast switching.

The BLA-600 is a compact 500W transistor power amplifier with built-in power supply.
The amplifier works fully automated, no tuning required. Band filters for all bands from 6 to 160 meters are selected automatically.

The BLA-600 utilizes up-to-date NXP/Freescale MRF6VP5600H modules for power generation. These modules use 50V supplies to achieve the best linearity and distortion free signals. The amplification factor is typically 14 dB: a driving power of 5 to 20W is sufficient on 10 to 80, 30 to 40W are required on 160 and 6m. The amp works with all current transceivers, the PTT keying can be selected from various methods to accomodate keying against ground, open collector systems etc. For a noiseless transmit/receive switching the BLA-600 uses pin diodes: this enables QSK operation even at higher telegraphy speeds.

A 16x2 LC display shows the operating state of the amplifier, and LED bars show the output power level.
Various protection circuits monitor several parameters: current intake, voltage, SWR, temperature, fan rotation etc. This ensures that the amplifer protects itself even when the antenna is malfunctioning.
