Hy-Gain Long John Yagi Antennas are computer-optimized HF beams. They feature full-sized elements, wide spaced, on a long boom. They also feature Hy-Gain's adjustable beta-match, rugged boom-to mast bracket, and stainless steel hardware and clamps for all electrical and mechanical connections.
These beams are ideal for contesting and DXing. Their excellent gain and front to back ratio means better resistance to QRM and better RST on the desired signal. Long Johns are ideal for stacking! Use two or three of them for unparalleled performance and durability.
Many hams prefer mono-band antennas for their no-compromise performance.
