The many standard "X" keyboard stands, having arms of the table top up to 40 cm., can be used to accommodate this additional shelf which, thanks to a lower box-shaped folding along the edges, can not slide away, being hampered.
It is therefore very stable and more reliable than a shelf simply resting on the stand.
Moreover, thanks to the perforating, the electronic equipment and the computers on it can benefit from a better air circulation, avoiding overheating.
