The BALUN (BALanced to UNbalanced antenna cable adapter) is a device for connecting an asymmetrical line to a symmetrical load (eg. a coaxial cable to a dipole).
By correctly balancing the currents in the two branches of a dipole, the balun avoids the distortions of the radiation lobes, the RF current is not radiated by the braid of the coaxial cable and interference due to return currents is avoided.
The ITA baluns are made of an aluminum body of 50 or 60 mm in diameter (depending on the model) and 2 mm thick that ensure great strength, whose ends are closed with plastic caps with anti-UV treatment.

ITA-CHOKE - LINE ISOLATOR - EFFECTIVE FROM 0 TO 100 MHz AGAINST COMMON MODE CURRENTS - MAX. POWER 800 W p.e.p. (400 W continuous)

The CHOKE BALUN is a line isolator, that is a useful filter to limit or even eliminate the noise caused by nearby devices: televisions, radios, computers, etc.
It is also useful during the transmission periods to filter the return currents that flow on the external part of the coaxial cable.
The CHOKE BALUN can be placed under the antenna, regardless of the model, between the balun and the coaxial cable.
It can also be placed in a radio station, between antenna cable and transceiver, to improve isolation.
It can also be useful to break the "ground loops", placing one between the radio and any amplifier.

The "Common Mode" filter acts on the currents that travel on the external part of the coaxial cable sheath during the transmission periods, something against which the "Low-Pass" filters are ineffective.
The union of a line / choke isolator and a low-pass filter (for example the YA-1 Bencher) can be successful for eliminating TVI phenomena.
It can also be very useful in mobile installation to avoid annoying R.F. feedback from antennas with grounding problems.

AOR - GT-1 - GALVANIC ISOLATION TRANSFORMER -  40 kHz-30 MHz - EFFECTIVELY REDUCES COMMON-MODE INTERFERENCE

GT-1 is an isolation transformer which, when connected between a receiver and an antenna, greatly reduces local noise by breaking the ground loop effect between antenna and receiver. Typical noise sources are switching power supplies, such as those used for receivers and computers. 

Main features:

• Reduce or suppress ground loop induced noise
• Very efficient noise reduction in a PC controlled receiver environment
• Great performance in LF and MF bands (40kHz～3MHz)
• Protects the receiver from electrostatic discharges from the antenna
• 40kHz～30MHz Wide band coverage from low frequencies to shortwave.

Operation principles:
In a city environment where a good quality grounding is not available for your receiving station, a “ground loop effect” can occur and greatly affect your listening experience with unwanted electrical noise. This is particularly true for PC controlled receivers such as SDR receivers. 
The “ground loop effect” occurs when the receiver ground and antenna ground have different potentials, thus being a major cause of noise and interference originating from other electrical equipment such as switching power supplies. This noise can block the signal you want to receive. 
GT-1 will break this ground loop and by Galvanic isolation filter the noise out of the signal before it reaches the receiver’s antenna input. 

Operating instructions:
Using the GT-1 is very easy! 
Just connect your antenna cable to the GT-1 socket marked “ANT”, and connect the other socket marked “RX” directly to the antenna input of your receiver. If you lack space behind your receiver, just use a 10 to 20cm long (non-supplied) coaxial BNC cable between the receiver and GT-1. 
GT-1 will reduce or even suppress “ground loop” induced noise by trapping the noise before it enters the receiver.  GT-1 is not effective for suppressing noise not caused by the ground loop effect.

TO CONNECT A COAX CABLE (UNBALANCED) TO AN UNBALANCED ANTENNA WITH A 9:1 IMPEDANCE RATIO

The RU-9:1 Unun was designed to allow easy interface of vertical antennas or EFLWs (END FED LONG WIRES) to the LDG line of Automatic Antenna Tuners or other tuners.
The 200 watt Unun also operates "stand alone", thus does not require an LDG Tuner for resonant antennas.
It may also be used with many of your antenna projects where a 9:1 Unun is needed.
