The new SERIES 5000 has been designed as a new series of vehicular antennas for 27 MHz or 10 m HAM band to assure very good performances and high power handling. Thanks to its coil made of big section copper wire, TURBO PERFORMER 5000 can bear very high powers up to 1500 Watts continuous or 5000 Watts short time. It's very important to make use of the correct cable, in particular, we recommend to use a teflon RG303 cable for power higher than 600 Watts. The whip is made of 17/7 PH stainless steel and all the metallic parts are of chromed brass to get the best robustness. 
They can be fitted on magnet mount or brackets supplied with UHF connector.

The ATAS-120A is a unique mobile antenna designed for Yaesu transceivers equipped with the ATAS system. The ATAS-120A uses a motorized tuning system that brings the radiant element into resonance for the minimum ROS without having to resort to expensive, inconvenient groups of monoband resonant rod antennas. The ATAS-120A is designed for direct mounting on a normal mobile antenna support (not supplied) compatible with its "M" type (PL-259) base connector.

BY ADDING THE ATBK-100 RADIAL KIT (OPTIONAL) THE ANTENNA CAN ALSO BE INSTALLED IN A FIXED SITE with an extremely compact footprint in situations of limited space.

Yaesu's patented ATAS ™ (Active-Tuning Antenna System) provides HF / VHF / UHF coverage with automatic motorized tuning.
Using the command signals from the transceiver's microprocessor received via the coaxial cable, the internal ATAS monitor adjusts the length of the radiator to achieve the optimum SWR.

ATAS covers the bands of
7/14/21/28/50/144/430 MHz and is compatible with FT-991A, FT-891, FT-857D, FT-897D and FT-450D models.
