Do you want to start playing the keyboard? The Alesis Harmony 32 provides you with an arsenal of sounds, backing tracks and demo songs to learn while having fun, alone (playing with headphones) or in company, thanks to the built-in speakers.
Powered by 4 AA batteries, or by power with a classic USB power supply (optional), this musical keyboard also allows you to play your virtual instruments and your musical or educational applications installed on PC, Mac, smartphone or tablet.

The keyboard with an extension of 2 and a half octaves (from F2 to C5) is composed of small keys (80x19mm for the white keys, 49x9mm for the black ones) and to the touch it is of a higher quality than the standard you are used to in this price range. With the Sustain button we can activate / deactivate the simulation of the classic behavior that is obtained using the piano's damper pedal. There are 300 ready-to-use sounds in the Alesis Harmony 32, all organized into 24 categories indicated on the screen printing of the dashboard and easily recalled by pressing the Tone button and then interacting with the dedicated numeric keypad and with the + and - buttons.

Loading and playing a demo song follows the same rules as above for sounds and rhythms. While playing the songs or rhythms, we can freely play both the keyboard and the drums. By hitting the 5 round rubber pads with a diameter of 1 cm we can play the essential elements of the rhythm section: kick, snare, clap, tambourine and crash. By pressing record you can record what you are playing on the keyboard, and then listen to yourself again once the performance is finished.

The built-in metronome offers four different time signature settings: 1/4, 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4.
This can be activated / deactivated using the large rubber button (15mm in diameter) (located on the right side of the dashboard). The speed in BPM of the metronome, rhythms and songs can be adjusted by pressing the Tempo buttons; the speed in BPM will be shown on the alphanumeric display. The large LCD display with 3 alphanumeric characters will support us in using the Harmony 32, indicating the identification number of the sound (T), of the base (r), or of the demo song (d) currently selected, in addition to the values ​​of the various parameters.

Powered by batteries, by current or via USB

Integrated amplification, headphone output
In addition to the integrated amplification that through the two speakers can reproduce up to 85dB SPL, the Harmony 32 keyboard by Alesis has a minijack output that allows us to connect a headphone to play without disturbing those around us, since once when the headphones are connected, the built-in speakers will deactivate. In addition, with a "Y" audio cable (not included, for example Quik Lok AD / 40-3K, or RKSA / 150-2), using the same 1/8 "mini-jack output if necessary you can connect to the line input of any audio diffusion system: amplifier, powered speakers, mixer, etc.

MIDI keyboard controller
Play virtual musical instruments on your PC, Mac computer or installed music apps on your tablet or smartphone. In addition to powering the keyboard, the USB port in the Alesis Harmony 32 is used to transmit the MIDI note messages generated by playing the keyboard. As a class compliant peripheral, you won't have to worry about installing any drivers on your computer, as this keyboard will automatically be recognized as a USB MIDI peripheral by any recent operating system.
