It can be connected to a microphone or to the output of a microphone preamplifier (type MIC100, MIC200, MIC 800 and similar with XLR output), to the output of a mono mixer or other audio device capable of driving the microphone input of the radio transmitter in use.

Made at one end with 1 standard XLR 3-pole female connector and at the other end with 8-pin round microphone connector for the radio in use, with additional PTT socket with 6.5 mm female jack for a foot switch.
