Extremely robust and durable this is a specific antenna wire, flexible but at the same time extremely resistant, able to stand up to the weather elements for many years.
Coated in PVC plastic material able to withstand U.V. rays for a long life on the outside, it consists of 7 interwoven wires to give a strength not found in normal electric cables often wrongly used for the construction of antennas.
Compared to other flexible cables with a smaller section proposed for the construction of antennas but made up of many wires, this braid has greater strength, less elongation at traction, less possibility of fraying with strong tension and a section and diameter that allows an advantage in terms of bandwidth compared to smaller cables.
Ideal to build dipoles, long-wires, random-wires, quads, loops and other types of wire antennas.
