CUSHCRAFT - A3SDX - 3 element 10-15-20 METERS YAGI TYPE BEAM ANTENNA - REINFORCED VERSION OF A3S, PARTICULARLY SUITED FOR DX-PEDITIONS
There is no electrical performance difference between the A3S and A3SDX.
However, the A3SDX is a bit heavier as a result of splices and extra hardware not found in the A3S.
The reason for the A3SDX is to provide DXpeditions with an antenna that is packaged in such a way as
to allow it to be checked as airline baggage.
This means instead of one long package the antenna comes in 2 shorter ones.
