6 output low-pass filters that can be inserted manually or are controlled by a microprocessor, with a cut-off frequency of 3 / 4.5 / 8 / 15 / 22 / 31 MHz, to drastically reduce harmonic emissions. The filter selection control can be automatic, controlled by a microprocessor that reads the transmission frequency and automatically selects the appropriate filter, or manual (selection of the band through the switch located on the front): in the latter case the microprocessor checks that the filter selection is correct; possibly signaling through an acoustic warning the possibility that the filter set is incorrect.
A temperature sensor blocks the operation of the amplifier and emits a warning signal, if it becomes excessive; the reset is automatic when the temperature returns to normal functional parameters.
A SWR protection circuit blocks the operation of the amplifier in the case of a high level of stationary waves; the same circuit protects the amplification stage from the possibility that an incorrect selection of low-pass filters may damage it.
